Guests arrive in Fort St. John, British Columbia either from Vancouver via Air Canada or Hawk Air on the morning flight.
Our shuttle bus and hosts will pick you up and you'll then spend a delightful 1.5 hours driving along the Peace River to the tiny historic community of Hudson's Hope, a former Hudson's Bay trading post. You may see large numbers of whitetail deer along the highway and many more species as we get closer to the lodge.
By Vehicle
If you are travelling by vehicle to Torwood Lodge from Southern BC take highway 97 North through Prince George to Hudson's Hope. From Edmonton take highway 43 to Dawson Creek. Once in Dawson Creek take the Alaska Highway 97 to Fort St. John, then turn left onto Highway 29 just outside of Fort St. John to Hudson's Hope.
From Hudson's Hope travel on Canyon Drive 10km towards the WAC Bennett Dam and watch for signs.
